Sunday School

All kids age 3 through 4th grade meet together in room 10 each week for Holy Moly! Sunday School. We join together to sing at 9:45am and then learn about the Bible together through fun stories, videos and crafts. Join us! 5th graders join with the middle school class in room 4 on Sunday mornings to prepare for First Communion and Confirmation classes.

Youth Ministry

All 6th-12th grade students are invited to participate in Bethel's various Youth Ministry activities. We meet every Sunday for Bible class and join together for various fellowship and service events throughout the year.

Adult Discipleship

We have a number of fantastic discipleship opportunities for adults with a variety of learning styles. Whether you’re looking for a small group setting, a book study, in depth or overview, we have something for you. We even offer new member courses throughout the year.

Hispanic Ministry and Outreach

Bethel offers ESL classes on Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Childcare is provided. Parenting classes meet on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. and Bible Study is on Thursday evenings at 8:30 p.m.  Individual and Marriage counseling is also available. Spanish language worship is offered on Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Check the calendar for the schedule. Bethel Soccer Club for children meets at our neighborhood partner Highland Meadows Elementary School (8939 Whitewing Ln.) on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Contact Rev. Music Ministries

Music is very important to worship at Bethel. We have several choirs, Voices of Praise, Bells of Praise, Tenoba, and Children of Praise who join in our Traditional Worship Service. Our Contemporary Service is led by our Praise team.

Senior Ministries

Bethel's Seniors gather monthly in two groups, ROMEOS (Retired Old Men Eating Out) and Pairs 'n Spares. Contact the church office at 214-348-0420 for more information.

Women's Ministries

Bethel's Women participate in Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML), an organization of Lutheran women throughout the nation who support mission work at home and abroad and provide opportunities for women to grow in faith and service. Locally, LWML hosts rallies and retreats for women in area churches. Bethel women support LWML through their mites (offerings) and involvement in Zone and District events. At Bethel, the mission of the LWML is carried out through the various Guild Circles.

Emmanuel Ethiopian Lutheran Church
